The Kaiserwiese is located directly in the 2nd district of Vienna. The Viennese Prater is a spacious, mostly 6 km ² large, public area in the 2nd district of Vienna, Leopoldstadt, which today still consists to a large extent of original Danubian landscapes. If one speaks outside of Vienna from the "Prater", often only the well-known amusement park in the Prater, the Wurstelprater, is meant. This is located at the northwestern tip of the area between the Danube and the Danube Canal and makes up in terms of area only a very small part of the entire Prater area.
