Pussy Riot - Riot Days

Seit 2017 führt Pussy Riot, das gefeierte russische feministische Protestkollektiv, „Riot Days“ auf – eine bahnbrechende Verbindung aus Live-Musik, Theater und Multimedia. Die Show basiert auf dem viel gelobten Buch „Riot Days“ von Maria „Mascha“ Aljochina, das die legendären Proteste, Gerichtsprozesse und Haftstrafen des Kollektivs schildert. „Riot Days“ entwickelt sich stetig weiter und integriert aktuelle Reflexionen über politische Verfolgung sowie Ereignisse wie den russischen Angriffskrieg gegen die Ukraine. Die Show wurde weltweit bereits über 400 Mal aufgeführt – in fast allen europäischen Ländern sowie in Nord- und Südamerika, Australien und Neuseeland. Seit Beginn der russischen Vollinvasion der Ukraine fanden mehr als 150 Aufführungen der aktuellen Version statt. Durch die Show „Riot Days“ und Ausstellungen von Pussy Riot wurden mehr als 200.000 Euro zur Unterstützung des ukrainischen Kinderkrankenhauses „Okhmatdyt“ in Kiew sowie für politische Gefangene in Russland gesammelt.
