Good Neighbours – die neuen Hoffnungsträger des britischen Indie-Pop – melden sich mit ihrer neuen Single „People Need People“ zurück und veröffentlichen damit einen letzten Vorgeschmack auf das Ende September erscheinende Debütalbum „Blue Sky Mentality“.

Die Hymne thematisiert Freundschaft, Zusammenhalt und die Kraft menschlicher Nähe – getragen von leuchtenden Synths, treibenden Beats und einem mitreißenden Refrain. Zuvor hatten Good Neighbours bereits die energiegeladenen Singles „Found u/me“, „Suburbs“ und ein Cover von „There She Goes“ veröffentlicht. Alle zeigen die emotionale Tiefe und klangliche Vielfalt des Albums: große Gefühle verpackt in eingängige Pop-Refrains, die verbinden und befreien.

Ihren bisherigen Höhepunkt feierten Good Neighbours am Reading & Leeds Festival, wo sie erstmals auf der Main Stage spielten – ein weiterer Meilenstein nach dem ausverkauften Heimspiel im Sebright Arms in London, dem Ort ihres allerersten Konzerts vor nur 18 Monaten.

Entstanden ist der erste Longplayer „Blue Sky Mentality“ während eines turbulenten Jahres auf Tour – zwischen Flughäfen, Hotelzimmern und Busfahrten. Es ist ein Album über Nähe und Distanz, Gemeinschaft, Hoffnung und den Weg zurück zu sich selbst. Die 14 Songs spiegeln ihre rasante Entwicklung und ihren optimistischen Blick auf die Welt wider. Und auf der anstehenden Tour gewähren sie auch live Einblick in ihr musikalisches Schaffen – am 08.03.2026 u.a. im Wiener Flex!
