Gegründet im Jahr 2010, gewann BABYMETAL in Japan schnell an Popularität – vor allem durch ihre explosiven Live-Shows. Bereits 2013 waren sie eine feste Größe: Sie eröffneten Konzerte für Red Hot Chili Peppers, Korn und Lady Gaga und brachten die kompromisslose Energie des Metal zu einem weltweiten Publikum. Mit über 15 Jahren Bandgeschichte und einer leidenschaftlichen internationalen Fanbase ist BABYMETAL nicht einfach nur eine Band – sie sind eine Bewegung, die neu definiert, wie harte Musik aussieht und klingt. Angeführt von drei dynamischen Frauen – SU-METAL, MOAMETAL und MOMOMETAL – hat BABYMETAL das Gesicht des Metal mitgeprägt und inspiriert eine neue Generation von Frauen und Mädchen, die sich in diesem Sound und auf diesen Bühnen wiederfinden.

2015 war das Durchbruchsjahr für BABYMETAL: Ausverkaufte Shows im House of Blues in Chicago und im Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City und gewannen mehrere Preise: darunter “Breakthrough Act“ -Award bei den Metal Hammer Golden Gods, “Spirit of Independence“ -Auszeichnung beim Relentless Kerrang! Auszeichnungen, MTV Europas “Wildcard Best Japanese Act“ und mehrere LOUDWIRE Awards. Darüber hinaus erhielten sie den “Discovery Prize“ der GQ Japan Awards “Men of the Year 2015“ und den Preis “Women of the Year“ der VOGUE Japan Awards “Women of the Year 2015“. Im Juli 2015 wurden sie der erste japanische Künstler, der auf dem Cover von Metal Hammer erschien.

The Kufstein Fortress is one of the most impressive historical sites in Tyrol, majestically overlooking the town of Kufstein. With a history spanning more than 800 years, it is among Austria’s most significant fortifications, offering visitors a captivating blend of history, culture, and stunning panoramic views of the Inn Valley.

The fortress is renowned for its well-preserved defensive walls, the Kaiserturm Museum, and the Heldenorgel, the world’s largest outdoor organ, whose powerful sounds regularly resonate as a symbol of peace. In addition to its historical exhibitions, Kufstein Fortress hosts a variety of events, including concerts, theater performances, and medieval festivals.

• Kufstein Train Station – approximately 1 hour from Innsbruck or Munich
• The fortress is about a 10-minute walk from the station

• Regional bus connections from Tyrol and Bavaria provide direct access to Kufstein

• Kufstein is located along the A12 (Inn Valley Motorway) – exits Kufstein Nord or Kufstein Süd
• Parking is available in the city center and near the fortress
