Klaus Maria Brandauer, a member of the Burgtheater ensemble and an honorary member of the Burgtheater, reads from Stefan Zweig's novella Burning Secret , which was once adapted into a film starring him and Faye Dunaway. The story centers on twelve-year-old Edgar, who is spending the summer with his mother at a grand hotel in Semmering. A nonchalant baron gains his trust, but then turns his attention to his mother. A jealous quest to uncover the reason for this departure ensues, along with a painful farewell to childhood.
