Carolers
The Company of Music has already enchanted audiences several times with a contemplative programme during Advent. This year, the excellent vocal ensemble led by Johannes Hiemetsberger will once again spread Christmas cheer –, this time under the motto »Seeing the Star«.
Meditative accompaniment
Compositions between Orient and Occident are at the centre of the concert. The company is in good company this time with Marwan Abado, David Bergmüller and Tobias Steinberger, who provide atmospheric accompaniment on the ud, lute and percussion.
Spiritual depth
The Company of Music will also be performing works by Arvo Pärt. His music is characterised by meditative simplicity, spiritual depth and harmony – - a fitting choice for a contemplative concert that touches the heart and soul and lets you feel the warmth of Advent.
