Blood Red Shoes – ein Duo bestehend aus Laura-Mary Carter (Gitarre und Gesang) und Steven Ansell (Schlagzeug und Gesang). Seit mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten sind sie zu zweit unterwegs: Sie nehmen Platten auf, touren durch die Welt und erschaffen ihr eigenes kleines Universum – für sich selbst und für alle, die sich ihnen anschließen möchten. Sie bezeichnen sich gerne als Rockband, weil dieser Begriff eigentlich kaum etwas aussagt – was sie wiederum amüsant finden, auch wenn sie tatsächlich zweifellos eine Rockband sind.

2026 veröffentlichen sie erstmals seit vier Jahren neue Musik. Das gesamte Material wurde von ihnen selbst geschrieben, produziert und abgemischt – eine Leistung, auf die sie sehr stolz sind. Sie gehen auf ihre erste große Tournee seit den Konzerten zu ihrem 20-jährigen Jubiläum im Jahr 2024; dabei reisen sie durch Großbritannien und Europa und präsentieren ein Set, das Songs aus all ihren Alben sowie jede Menge neuer Musik umfasst.
